Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines that ensure smooth data flow from source to destination. The role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and business system owners to deliver high-quality data ingestion and integration solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion from multiple sources.
  • Automate data workflows for consistent and reliable processing.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions using Azure Analytics Services, Azure SQL Database, and/or Databricks.
  • Develop and manage data storage solutions including data lakes, data warehouses, and databases.
  • Implement data quality frameworks ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Apply security measures such as encryption and access controls to protect sensitive data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipelines, storage, and processing.
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline, database, and query performance.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proven hands-on experience with data pipeline design & development on the Azure Cloud platform.
  • 5+ years of experience in Databricks development.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Scala.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Informatica IICS, Data Governance, or IDQ.
  • Exposure to MS Power BI development.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
