Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Asterisk Developer. As an Asterisk Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing telecommunication systems using Asterisk. Daily tasks include working on call routing, SIP trunking, integrating VoIP systems, troubleshooting telephony issues, updating and maintaining telephony servers, and ensuring high availability and performance of communication systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement telephony applications and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Asterisk development and maintenance
  • Proficiency in telecommunication systems, call routing, and SIP trunking
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems integration and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript
  • Experience with Linux server administration and telephony server maintenance
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and security
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant certifications in Asterisk or VoIP are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
