Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented SP3D Administrator to join our engineering team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 12–15 years of hands-on experience in managing and administering SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) environments, with a strong background in engineering design systems, database management, and project execution support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the SP3D environment including setup, configuration, and customization.
  • Manage SP3D databases, project structures, and user access controls.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams for SP3D-related issues.
  • Coordinate with IT and engineering departments to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Develop and maintain SP3D project templates, catalogs, and specifications.
  • Perform regular system backups, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on SP3D best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma, Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12–15 years of experience in SP3D administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of SP3D modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and SmartPlant Foundation.
  • Experience with integration of SP3D with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in SP3D or related tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based SP3D deployments.
  • Familiarity with other Hexagon tools and platforms.
