Position: Fashion Designer Intern

Location: Ambattur

Duration: [e.g., 3 months / 6 months]

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Designer Intern to join our team. This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, work closely with the design team, and build a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and designs.
  • Support in sketching, mood board creation, and digital illustrations.
  • Help in sourcing materials, trims, and fabrics.
  • Coordinate with production team for sampling and fittings.
  • Assist in cataloging and organizing design archives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for upcoming collections.
  • Support in fashion shoots, exhibitions, and branding activities (if applicable).

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Apparel Technology or related field.
  • Creative mindset with strong interest in fashion trends and design.
  • Knowledge of design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute proactively.
