Looking for AVP / DVP - M&A Lawyer for one of the MNC client based in Mumbai.

M&A lawyers act as strategic advisors, helping clients understand the legal and financial implications of a potential deal.

Provide legal guidance on mergers and acquisitions, which includes conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating agreements, and ensuring the deal complies with all relevant laws and regulations .

Identify and manage legal risks associated with the M&A transaction and advise on how to mitigate them.

Draft and negotiate key legal documents, including letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, and purchase agreements.

Advise on the tax implications of a deal and help structure it to minimize tax liabilities.

Negotiating and influencing skills, coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Strong commercial acumen.

Knowledge of the due diligence process and warranties and indemnities, as well as familiarity with transaction documents such as sale and purchase agreements, will be an added advantage.

Bachelor qualification with background in Law.

7+ years of professional experience working with tier 1 law firms or Insurance Companies.
