UI/UX Designer Intern Remote

Type: Internship (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Location: Work From Home

Duration: 3–6 months

Stipend: 20,000–25,000/month (varies by company)

Eligibility: Students or recent graduates in Design, Computer Science, or related fields.

Role Overview

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our remote design team. You'll work on real-world projects, crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your design skills and build a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
  • Conduct user research and usability testing
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure design feasibility
  • Create visual designs aligned with brand guidelines
  • Help maintain and update design systems and style guides
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
  • Support A/B testing and design optimization efforts

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or freelance experience in UI/UX design
  • A portfolio showcasing 3–5 design projects (web/mobile preferred)
  • Experience with user personas and customer journey mapping
  • Exposure to SaaS, e-commerce, or healthcare platforms is a plus
