Job Title: Logistics Executive

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 2–3 Years

Department: Supply Chain & Logistics

Reports To: Manager – Logistics / Supply Chain Head

Role Overview: The Logistics Executive will be responsible for coordinating and executing transportation, dispatch, and last-mile logistics across E-commerce, Quick Commerce, Modern Trade, and General Trade channels. The role demands strong coordination with warehouse teams, courier and transport partners, distributors, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Dispatch & Transportation Management - Plan and execute dispatches across E-commerce, Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc.), Modern Trade, and General Trade channels. Coordinate with courier and transport partners for vehicle placement, pickup scheduling, and delivery tracking. - Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handover readiness at the warehouse for all order types. - Monitor TAT adherence and ensure on-time delivery to customers, stores, and distributors. - Handle reverse logistics and returns as per defined SOPs. 2. Partner & Vendor Coordination - Manage relationships with logistics service providers (couriers, 3PLs, and local transporters). - Arrange vehicles for inter-warehouse, distributor, and Q-commerce hub transfers. - Negotiate freight rates and monitor service performance and compliance with SLAs.- Follow up on PODs, shortages, claims, and freight bills. 3. MIS & Reporting - Maintain daily dispatch and shipment trackers for all sales channels. - Track freight cost per unit, per order, and per channel to drive cost optimization. - Publish daily/weekly MIS reports covering delivery status, delays, damages, and exceptions. - Prepare courier/vendor performance dashboards (EDD %, OFD %, RTO %, etc.) where applicable. 4. Documentation & Compliance - Ensure accurate generation and verification of invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans. - Coordinate with finance for freight invoice validation and payment processing. - Maintain all dispatch and transporter records as per audit and statutory requirements. 5. Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Category teams to ensure alignment between order flow and dispatch readiness. - Escalate delivery, routing, or service issues in real time to ensure quick resolution. - Support new channel launches (e.g., new quick-commerce partners or regional distributors). Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of multi-channel logistics (E-commerce, Q-commerce, MT, GT). - Experience working with courier aggregators, 3PLs, or transporters. Familiarity with WMS/TMS systems, Uniware, or similar logistics tools. - Proficiency in Excel and data reporting. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills. - High sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure. Qualification: - Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field. - 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain roles (preferably in FMCG, E-commerce, or Q-commerce sectors).
