We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Site Reliability Engineer to join our Emerging Tech team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines, managing large-scale datasets, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure (cloud/on-prem).
  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions, frameworks, and automations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design stable, reliable solutions.
  • Lead incident response efforts and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Develop runbooks and troubleshoot critical issues.
  • Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Advocate for DevOps/SRE best practices within the engineering team.
  • Optimize system performance through monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Create and maintain documentation; mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with incident and problem management.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Microsoft Azure or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Splunk, Grafana).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)
