Software Engineer

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you'll achieve 

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You Will

  • Develop customized software solutions for Dell customers.

  • Assess feasibility of the requested solution

  • Analyze issues found in current product functionality

  • Trouble-shoot problems found at customer sites and provide quick workarounds and resolutions

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of broad software development experience along with bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant course of study

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt technical discussions to your audience

  • Strong H/W experience with PowerEdge Family or any equivalent sever family

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of System Management Software for servers, Python, C in embedded linux environment.
