Job Title: DTP Operator (Work From Home)

About Us:

SpeEdLabs is an adaptive practice platform founded by IIT/IIM alumni, offering AI-enabled personalized learning solutions for students. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented DTP Operator to join our content team.

Job Description:

The DTP Operator will be responsible for designing, formatting, and typing educational content with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, format, and layout books, study materials, and other print/digital content.
  • Ensure consistency in fonts, styles, spacing, and overall formatting across documents.
  • Type content accurately and make corrections as per feedback.
  • Work with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, or CorelDRAW to create and edit layouts.
  • Coordinate with content writers, faculties, editors, and subject matter experts.
  • Proofread and review materials to ensure high-quality output.
  • Prepare files for printing and ensure adherence to printing standards.
  • Maintain organized records and backups of all design and formatted work.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation in any discipline (Bachelor's degree mandatory).
  • Proven experience (preferred) as a DTP Operator/Book Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) [mandatory]; Adobe InDesign and CorelDRAW [optional].
  • Strong English typing speed with accuracy.
  • Knowledge of formatting, layout design, and typography.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with precision.
  • Prior experience in educational content/book design will be an advantage.
  • Freshers with strong skills may also apply.
