The job profile is to discuss with the clients to discuss and learn about their travel requirements. You are responsible for advising clients about suitable travel options in accordance with their needs, wants, and capabilities. In addition, you've to help them plan trips to domestic or international destinations, tours, accommodation, transport, insurance, and fares.

Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Travel Consultant or candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the travel industry. If you're based in Ahmedabad and passionate about travel, this role is perfect for you A bachelor's degree is required, and a degree in tourism or a related field is preferred. As a Travel Consultant, you will meet with clients to understand their travel needs and provide expert advice on suitable options. From planning domestic and international trips to arranging accommodations, transportation, insurance, and fares, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' travel experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Immerse yourself in researching and exploring various travel destinations
  • Study destination details including travel prices, customs, weather conditions, and reviews
  • Understand and analyze clients' specific requirements and preferences
  • Recommend travel options that align with clients' needs and desires
  • Skillfully plan and organize travel itineraries
  • Book tickets, reserve accommodations, and arrange rental transportation
  • Provide clients with helpful travel materials such as guides, maps, and event programs
  • Manage deposits and balances efficiently
  • Offer and promote additional services and offerings
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends by attending webinars, conferences, and educational programs
  • Foster strong relationships with clients
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare comprehensive reports

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for travel and tourism
  • Excellent knowledge of the latest tourism trends
  • Good understanding of various tourism offerings and options
  • Proficiency in travel software systems
  • Strong command of English and Hindi; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
  • Impressive sales and presentation skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Any graduate degree
  • Having a BA in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field is advantageous
  • Candidates with extensive personal travel experience will be given preference
