Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.


• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports, including revenue projections and expenditure forecasts, to assist management in decision-making. Preparation of Financial statements.


• Budget Management: Preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and that expenditures align with organizational goals.


• Account Reconciliation: Responsible for maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.


• Audit Preparation: Preparing documentation for external auditors and coordinating semi annual audits and assist in resolving any audit findings or discrepancies.


• Compliance and Risk Management: Investigate and resolve issues of noncompliance and account discrepancies, ensuring that the organization adheres to financial regulations and standards. Avoiding legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.


• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.


• Manages the payroll process.


• Secures financial information by completing database backups.


• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications and Skills:


• Knows the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


• Demonstrates strong technical accounting skills


• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics is required


• CA certification and minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role


• Must have at least 8-10 years experience in accounting or finance


• Understanding of US accounting will add advantage
