Job Overview
We are seeking a software engineer who can develop Automated Tests with strong expertise in Python scripting, Robot Framework, API Testing, database testing, and manual testing. The ideal candidate will design and execute automated test frameworks for software integration and test, system acceptance tests, and unit tests. They will perform code coverage analysis, and ensure quality across web, backend, and communications software. Exposure to cybersecurity testing will be a plus.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies, traceability matrices, and detailed test plans based on complex system requirements and user stories.
• Serve as the authority on verification documentation, ensuring strict adherence.
• Focus heavily on formal verification, including rigorous testing of failure modes, boundary conditions, and complex use cases.
• Generate formal test reports and summaries used for internal decision-making and external regulatory submissions.
• Automate manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify defects early and improve testability.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Document test strategies, plans, and results for traceability and compliance.
• Support web, backend, and communications software testing efforts.
• Ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing (automation + manual).
• Strong experience in Python scripting for automation frameworks (Such as Robot Framework).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman,Swagger, SoapUI) and understanding of REST/SOAP services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, qTest).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cybersecurity testing (vulnerabilities, secure coding validation).
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and a team as well as manage priorities.
• Proactive and eager to adopt new testing tools and practices.
