Job Title: Assistant Manager Training & Placement

Location: People's University, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)

Department: Training & Placement Cell

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years (in placement functions in universities/colleges)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in developing and implementing effective placement strategies in alignment with university goals.

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, corporate recruiters, and alumni for internship and job opportunities.

* Coordinate with departments to understand student skill sets and tailor placement activities accordingly.

* Organize and manage campus recruitment drives, job fairs, industry talks, and pre-placement training programs.

* Maintain a comprehensive database of students and placement records.

* Facilitate student career guidance, resume building, and interview preparation.

* Liaise with companies to understand hiring requirements and align university talent pool accordingly.

* Monitor placement metrics and prepare detailed reports for management review.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve placement conversion rates.

* Ensure timely communication between students and recruiters throughout the placement process.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Preference to MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, or related fields).

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in placement roles within universities or higher education institutions.

* Proven industry contacts and experience in managing on-campus/off-campus placement drives.

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.

* Proficient in MS Office tools, email communication, and placement management systems.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet placement targets.
