Summary:

Seeking an experienced Sr. Oracle DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize critical Oracle databases (11g23ai) across Exadata, On-prem, and Cloud environments. The role involves administration, automation, migration, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases on On-prem, EC2, and RDS.
  • Manage performance tuning, backups (RMAN), recovery, and patching.
  • Handle DB migrations using GoldenGate/DMS and automate builds via CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Python).
  • Implement and manage RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and security features (TDE, SSL, TLS).
  • Develop and maintain monitoring (OEM, Datadog), capacity planning, and compliance reports.
  • Support high availability, disaster recovery, and incident resolution.
  • Collaborate across teams for cloud adoption, process automation, and continuous improvement.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c, Exadata, and ASM.
  • Proficient in performance tuning, replication (GoldenGate), and OEM.
  • Good knowledge of AWS, Linux/AIX/Windows, Shell scripting, and PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure to DevOps and automation tools.
  • Analytical mindset, strong troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.

Education:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in a relevant field.
