SAP Security Consultants

Location : Hyderabad

  • Key responsibilities
  • Role and authorization management: Design, create, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations, including composite and derived roles, using tools like the Profile Generator.
  • User access and provisioning: Manage user access requests, assignments, and the provisioning/de-provisioning of accounts.
  • Segregation of Duties (SoD): Perform SoD reviews, audits, and remediation to maintain compliance.
  • Security analysis and reporting: Analyze security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement. Track and report on security issues and findings.
  • Compliance and audits: Ensure compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with business, functional, and technical teams to resolve security issues and implement access changes.
  • Documentation: Maintain security documentation and best practices.
  • Technical support: Provide technical assistance for new installations, upgrades, and ongoing security processes.
  • Qualifications and skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often required.
  • Experience: Experience with SAP security, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and SAP authorization concepts is crucial.
  • Technical skills:
  • Proficiency with SAP security tools and concepts, including authorization objects and role-based access control.
  • Familiarity with specific SAP modules like SD is often needed for a specialized role.
