Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Python automation tools and scripts to streamline DevOps workflows.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with embedded security checks and compliance controls.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Integrate tools for SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure software delivery across the SDLC.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Monitor system performance and enforce secure coding and deployment standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to builds, deployments, and runtime environments.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 812 years of experience in software development and DevOps engineering.
  • Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, and API integration.
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools and secure software practices.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Working knowledge of Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Understanding of security standards like OWASP, NIST, or ISO 27001.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Experience with secrets management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault).
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.

  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

  • Google Professional DevOps Engineer

  • Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or data engineering on cloud platforms.
