OverView :

Glendale Academy School is seeking a passionate, caring, and creative Pre-Primary Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where young children (ages 3-5) can explore, learn, and grow. This role requires a teacher who can foster curiosity, emotional growth, and social development, while implementing an engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of young learners.

Responsibility :

Classroom Instruction & Curriculum Implementation

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's early childhood education framework.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and activities to meet the individual learning needs of each child.
  • Foster language, cognitive, and social skills through interactive play, storytelling, music, and movement.

Classroom Management

  • Establish and maintain a positive, supportive, and well-organized classroom environment.
  • Implement classroom routines and activities that support a safe, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere for children.
  • Guide children in building positive social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.

Assessment & Individualized Learning

  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress and learning needs regularly.
  • Maintain records of student performance and development, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed, and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Parent Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about their child's progress, needs, and accomplishments.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences as necessary to discuss child development and educational goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure the holistic development of each child.

Professional Development

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Participate in school-sponsored professional development workshops, training, and educational conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and learning outcomes.

Other Duties

  • Participate in school-wide activities, events, and programs as required.
  • Assist in the organization and preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.

SkillsDescription :

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Teaching certification or licensure in early childhood education is preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching preschool or early childhood education is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and able to engage young learners in meaningful activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patient, nurturing, and committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a cohesive school culture.
