Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shopify Developer based in Kolkata. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for developing and customizing Shopify websites, managing Shopify apps and plugins, integrating third-party APIs, ensuring the website is optimized for speed and SEO, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with designers and other developers to implement innovative solutions that meet the clients' needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Shopify platform, Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes and plugins
  • Knowledge of third-party API integrations and Shopify's REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Ability to optimize Shopify websites for speed and SEO
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in e-commerce development is a plus
