Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the development of a cutting-edge Data Warehouse that will enable our organization to generate high-level analytics and reports. The reports and analytics will be configured in the Credit Risk Analytics or Operations space. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the roadmap detailing the requirements and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define Technical Vision and Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive technical vision and roadmap for the Data Warehouse, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.

  2. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and document requirements for the Data Warehouse, including data sources, data models, and analytics use cases.

  3. Conceptualize the Data Warehouse Design: Conceptualize the design and architecture of the Data Warehouse, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval, ensuring scalability, performance, and data quality.

  4. Technical & Business Leadership: Work closely with the Development team to provide business perspective, technical guidance and oversight over the project, ensuring that the Data Warehouse is built to meet the required standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

  5. Data Modeling and Governance: Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data governance policies to ensure data consistency, quality, and security.

  6. Data Ingestion and Integration: Conceptualize and prepare the Design for data ingestion processes from various sources, including internal systems & external data providers.

  7. Analytics and Reporting: Collaborate with business to develop analytics and reporting capabilities, including data visualization, dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting.

  8. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the Data Warehouse meets the required standards, including data quality, performance, and security.

  9. Stakeholder Management: Communicate technical plans, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including business leaders.

  10. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the Data Warehouse and analytics capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or related field
  • Proven experience in designing large-scale Data Warehouses, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Technical awareness of:
  • Data modeling and database design
  • Data warehousing technologies
  • Data ingestion and integration tools
  • Data processing and analytics framework
  • Data visualization tools
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts including Generative AI
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders.

  • Certification in PSPO and CSPO will be added advantage
