Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Western Commis at The Leela Palace Chennai. The Western Commis will be responsible for preparing and cooking western dishes, ensuring high standards of food hygiene and presentation. Daily tasks include food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations, and assisting senior chefs in kitchen operations. The position requires excellent culinary skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Food Preparation and Cooking skills
• Strong Culinary Skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and Hygiene practices
• Effective Communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Formal culinary training or relevant certifications
