As a Senior Design Researcher at Fractal, you will play a crucial role in developing a deep understanding of users, identifying unmet needs, and translating research insights into actionable opportunities. Your involvement will encompass the entire research process, from initial planning and strategy to discovery, synthesis, and insight generation, all while ensuring the authentic representation of the user's perspective throughout the journey. - Crafting comprehensive research plans, methodologies, and tools tailored to the specific requirements of each project. - Conducting both primary and secondary research, such as user interviews, ethnographic studies, and field research. - Synthesizing research findings into clear insights, frameworks, and actionable opportunities. - Translating insights into design recommendations and user journeys, creating low-fi wireframes for seamless user experiences. - Overseeing research logistics, including coordinating with external agencies and participant recruitment. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 6+ years of experience in design research, user experience research, or ethnographic research. - Strong command of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. - Proficiency in conducting user interviews, field studies, and workshops. - Ability to distill complex findings into actionable frameworks. - Effective storytelling skills for communicating research outcomes efficiently. A Bachelors or Masters degree from a reputable institution is the educational qualification required for this position.
