About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate iOS Developer to join our engineering team supporting Citizen

Banks Global Capability Center (GCC). As part of this mission-critical initiative, you will be developing and

optimizing native iOS applications for digital banking platforms. This is a client-facing role that offers the

opportunity to collaborate with global stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver secure, scalable, and

high-performance mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA to deliver

high-impact features.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise-grade security, data protection, and regulatory requirements

relevant to the banking domain.

  • Build and maintain reusable libraries and components to accelerate development across multiple

banking modules.

  • Optimize applications for performance, stability, and user experience across various iOS devices and

versions.

  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and follow best practices in iOS architecture (MVVM, VIPER,

Clean Architecture).

  • Work within Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and delivery reviews.
  • Support the release process including CI/CD integration, TestFlight deployment, and App Store

submissions.

Must-Have Skills

  • 8 to 12 years of hands-on iOS development experience.
  • Proficiency in Swift, with working knowledge of Objective-C.
  • Experience in building secure, high-performance applications using UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data,

Combine, and related frameworks.

  • Proficient in RESTful API integration, debugging, GIT, and version control tools.
  • Understanding of threading, memory management, and performance tuning for enterprise applications. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong focus on UI/UX implementation, working closely with design teams to bring wireframes to life.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Prior experience working in Banking, FinTech, or other regulated industries (BFSI).
  • Exposure to security protocols such as biometrics, encryption, device binding, secure storage, and PCI

DSS compliance.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Fastlane, Firebase, Azure App Center, or Bitrise.
  • Working knowledge of Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, or Carthage.
  • Experience with Crashlytics, analytics integration, and monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to cross-platform compatibility and accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG).

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Relevant Apple/iOS development certifications are a plus.
