Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Sr Network & QA Engineer. The role involves performing software testing, executing test cases, and ensuring quality assurance in projects. The Sr Network & QA Engineer will also focus on manual testing processes, designing and verifying test cases, and contributing to the testing and validation of software systems to ensure their quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Test Execution, Test Cases, and Manual Testing
  • Strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and adapt to dynamic requirements
  • Familiarity with networking concepts or protocols is an advantage

Job Description:

Excellent QA experience in most of the following areas:

  • Experience in testing cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
  • Experience and understanding of Kubernetes, Docker and Clustering solutions.
  • Experience in creating end-to-end test strategy and test planning.
  • Hands-on programming using Java, Python, ROBOT, Perl, Go or TCL/TK.
  • Experience in testing wired Networking protocols like VLAN, IP, STP, TCP, UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SPBM etc.
  • Experience in testing Enterprise Wireless network.
  • Experience in security concepts and protocols such as AAA framework, 802.1X, Captive portal, VPN, Firewalls, SSL etc.
  • UI test automation experience using selenium or playwright.
  • Knowledge on Virtualization and Hypervisor (ESX, Hyper-V).
  • Experience using network testing tools like Wireshark, Ethereal or Jmeter.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix OS.
  • Experience or exposure to AI, Machine Learning and related tools.
  • Good Analytical and Communication Skills

Added Advantages:

  • Cloud practitioner certification on anyone of (AWS, GCP and Azure).
  • Experience in Testing Enterprise network solutions.
  • Experience in Scale and Performance testing in cloud.
  • Good exposure with Traffic Generators (Ixia/Spirent).
  • Experience with GitHub co-pilot or similar tool.
  • CCNA (R&S), CWNA and Security certification
