We are seeking a skilled Wi-Fi Developer with a strong background in networking protocols, embedded systems, and wireless technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize Wi-Fi features and network functionality in our software and hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Wi-Fi features a/b/g/n/ac/ax) on embedded Linux or similar platforms.
  • Implement and maintain networking protocols (TCP/IP stack, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, VLANs, etc.).
  • Work with wireless chipsets, drivers, and firmware to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Optimize Wi-Fi connectivity, roaming, and throughput performance.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues using tools like Wireshark, iperf, and Aircrack-ng.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and QA teams for product integration and validation.
  • Contribute to network security features (WPA2/WPA3, authentication, encryption).
  • Write and maintain low-level C/C++ or Python code for networking services and utilities.
  • Perform performance tuning and debugging at the network and system levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenWRT, Yocto, or other embedded Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with SDN (Software Defined Networking) or network automation tools.
  • Exposure to cloud-managed Wi-Fi systems or IoT networking.
  • Contributions to open-source networking projects.
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi certification processes (WFA, DFS, etc.).
