Sr FullStack Developer / Lead (Cloud Performance & Optimization)

Under broad direction, designs, codes, tests, trouble-shoots and documents engineering systems applications. Develops test strategies used in the automated regression testing of these systems. Follows secure coding practices, performs triaging of security issues, and implements fixes to deliver secure applications. Familiar with common software vulnerabilities and leading practices to mitigate. Works on large scale, complex projects. Proactively identifies areas for improvement within the software system and development processes and proposes new solutions. Develops assignments and schedules. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, and a minimum of 7 years of related experience, including software development experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable, performant, and cost-effective full stack solutions using cloud-native technologies.
• Develop and maintain responsive web applications and backend services with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Optimize application performance and cloud resource usage to reduce operational costs and improve system efficiency
• Ensure applications are secure, cloud-ready and, aligned with best practices for high availability and fault tolerance
• Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow Agile development practices to deliver high-impact features.
• Mentor junior developers and support their growth while transitioning into a team lead role.
• Provide technical guidance to the Product Owner to align development with product goals and business value.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Angular, , HTML5, CSS/SASS.
• Mandatory: Proven and demonstrable experience in improving performance and reducing cloud infrastructure costs of complex distributed systems deployed on Kubernetes
• Deep expertise in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), microservices, API integration, and system design.
• Strong understanding of performance profiling, resource utilization analysis and cost-aware architecture decisions in cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
• Solid knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with C# or Python is preferred.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.
• Oil & Gas domain experience is a plus.

• Frontend: Angular (v12–16 ), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS.
• Backend: (required), C# or Python (preferred), Express, RESTful APIs.
• DevOps and Optimization: Docker, Kubernetes (required), GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible.
• Proven experience in performance tuning, resource optimization, and cost reduction in Kubernetes environments
• Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS.
• Testing: JEST, Jasmine, Cypress, Protractor.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra.
