We (Risk Intelligence Pty Ltd) are seeking highly capable individuals to join our team as International Political Analysts / Regional Risk Analysts. Selected candidates will work remotely to deliver in-depth, high-quality analysis across the security and geopolitical spheres.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality analytical reports on international and regional developments.
  • Apply diverse research methods to provide predictive insights on global and national issues.
  • Deliver confidential briefings, impact evaluations, and tailored consultancy for leaders and governments.
  • Formulate actionable policy and risk mitigation strategies using official data, expert input, and open-source intelligence.
  • Monitor and interpret political developments from multiple sources.

Key Requirements

  • Professional experience in geopolitics, defense policies, or international relations.
  • Background in government institutions, think tanks, or international organizations is highly desirable.
  • Strong research and writing capabilities with demonstrated ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Proficient in gathering intelligence from diverse sources.
  • Self-driven, disciplined, and effective in both independent and team-based environments.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Public Policy, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience (academic or professional) in producing International geopolitical risk analysis reports.
  • Excellent analytical, forecasting, and critical thinking skills with a strong understanding of global and regional political developments.
  • Superior written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously without close supervision.
  • Proficient in gathering information from a variety of credible sources, while ensuring minimal reliance on open-source or unverified data (no more than 20%).

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working with international clients, think tanks, government bodies, or research organizations will be an added advantage.

Employee Benefits

  • Competitive pay: Starting at $200 per report after probation; up to $500 for top-tier reports. Monthly potential: $1,000–$3,000 depending on output and experience.
