Qualification Requirements:

  • BE / BSc / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) Mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or plant safety role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and statutory requirements in the plant.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for plant personnel.
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure availability.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to safety, audits, training, and incidents.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and HR teams to enforce safety standards.
  • Support emergency preparedness and conduct mock drills.
  • Liaise with government authorities during inspections and ensure timely compliance.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices (Factory Act, OSHA, etc.)
  • Experience in handling safety audits and risk management
  • Good communication and training skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and safety documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage compliance deadlines

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-site role in a plant environment
  • May require rotational shifts or weekend availability depending on plant operations
