Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
QA Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in
Java and Selenium
to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality software delivery through test automation, regression testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using
    Java + Selenium WebDriver
    .
  • Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure full test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and work on root cause analysis.
  • Integrate automated tests into
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
  • Conduct code reviews of test scripts and promote best practices in automation.
  • Prepare test reports and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Java programming
    for test automation.
  • Expertise in
    Selenium WebDriver
    for UI automation.
  • Experience with
    automation frameworks
    (TestNG, JUnit, Page Object Model).
  • Good knowledge of
    CI/CD tools
    (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with
    API automation
    (RestAssured, Postman).
  • Knowledge of
    BDD frameworks
    (Cucumber).
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
