Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance & Legal Duties

  • Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 (especially Section 49), and other labour laws.
  • Maintain and update statutory records and returns as required by government authorities.
  • Liaise with labour departments and government bodies during inspections and audits.

Employee Welfare & Well-being

  • Oversee and improve welfare amenities such as canteen, restrooms, crèches, drinking water, medical facilities, and recreational areas.
  • Handle workers' grievances and take necessary actions to resolve them amicably.
  • Organize welfare activities such as health check-ups, awareness sessions, and cultural programs.

Communication & Employee Relations

  • Act as a bridge between workers and management to foster open communication and trust.
  • Conduct regular meetings with worker representatives/trade unions to address concerns.
  • Promote workplace harmony and address potential conflicts before they escalate.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and organize skill development programs for workers.
  • Conduct induction programs for new employees, focusing on safety, welfare, and company policies.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Support safety officers in implementing workplace safety measures.
  • Promote awareness about hygiene, occupational health, and safety practices.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on welfare activities and employee engagement.
  • Maintain records of grievances, welfare initiatives, and compliance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work / Labour Welfare / Industrial Relations / HR / Law (as per state requirements).
  • Experience: 2–5 years in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setup preferred.
  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Indian labour laws and welfare regulations.

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
