Mobile Application Developer Intern — Job Description

A Mobile Application Developer Intern assists in designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for Android, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks. Working closely with senior developers, the intern helps build user-friendly, high-performance apps while gaining hands-on experience with modern mobile development tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing mobile applications using Android (Kotlin/Java), iOS (Swift), or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
  • Write clean, maintainable code under supervision.
  • Help debug, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive and responsive UI/UX.
  • Integrate APIs and work with mobile databases or cloud services (Firebase, Supabase, AWS, etc.).
  • Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
  • Test features on different devices and screen sizes for compatibility.
  • Document code changes, architectural decisions, and technical workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of one or more mobile development languages/frameworks:
  • Kotlin/Java (Android)
  • Swift (iOS)
  • Dart/Flutter, React Native (cross-platform)
  • Understanding of REST APIs and JSON data handling.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
