Job Description: ServiceNow Developer (JavaScript + Workflow Developer)

Position Overview

We are hiring a skilled ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow Scripting, and Workflow/Flow Designer development. The candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and automating business processes on the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and platform scripting tools.
  • Create, configure, and enhance Workflows and Flow Designer automation for business processes.
  • Design and develop Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, etc.
  • Customize ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog.
  • Build and maintain Service Catalog items and related automation.
  • Perform integration with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and enhance platform performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Scripting (Client & Server side).
  • Proficiency in Workflow Editor and Flow Designer automation.
  • Good understanding of GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax and other Glide APIs.
  • Experience with ITSM processes.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • ServiceNow Certification (Admin / Developer / CAD / SCA) is a plus.
