Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyze samples, adhering to standardized procedures (e.g. Sample derivatization, Auto-titrators, Chromatography), and document results for review and reporting.
• Using Lab Analytical Instruments: Gas Chromatography- Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID), Titrations (Karl Fischer, Argentometric, Redox, Acid-Base), D86 apparatus, lab centrifuge, NIR spectrophotometer, ICP-MS/OES etc.
• Experimental Protocol Execution: Assist in bench-scale experiments, including experimental setup, process-control devices and related advanced applications including programming, DoE-based trials, sample preparation, data analysis and product characterization.
• Data Collection & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of experimental activities and results, ensuring accuracy and clarity for project tracking and process optimization. Data visualization and data analysis skills would be appreciated and supported.
• Equipment Management: Period Maintenance of lab equipment such as auto-titrators, chromatography systems, and high-temperature reaction assemblies.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control initiatives, reviewing and improving protocols such as SOPs, MSDS, and HAZOP documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry and Petroleum, with 0-5 years of hands-on experience in performing laboratory experiments and operating analytical equipment.
• Understanding of high-temperature assemblies, separation processes, and contaminant monitoring in experimental setups is a plus.
• Self-initiative, ability to work in a small team, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and knowledge of DoE and data-visualizations tools (e.g. Design-Expert or Power BI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
