We are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java (preferably Java 18/21), Big Data technologies (especially Apache Spark), and cloud platforms (preferably AWS). Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
  • Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Develop Big Data pipelines and workflows using Apache Spark.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications on AWS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across services and platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team agile ceremonies.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve system efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development using Core Java (preferably versions 18/21).
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and other Big Data tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
  • Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (AWS Certified Developer, AWS Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with containerized environments and orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
