About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic Interns in Backend Web Development who are eager to start their career in PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter). The ideal intern should have basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and RESTful APIs with a willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced developers.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in scalable web application development, real-world project exposure, and the chance to convert into a full-time role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel/CodeIgniter.
  • Work with MySQL databases – writing queries, optimizing tables, and managing schemas.
  • Support in RESTful API development and integration for mobile and web applications.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to write clean, secure, and efficient code.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA in Computer Science / IT / related field.
  • Knowledge of PHP and frameworks like Laravel/CodeIgniter (academic or project-level exposure acceptable).
  • Understanding of MySQL database concepts and queries.
  • Basic knowledge of REST API concepts (JSON/XML).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have (Optional)

  • Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks / React / Angular).
  • Understanding of OOP concepts & MVC architecture.
