About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
Oncologist
with 4–5 years of post-specialization experience to join our multidisciplinary medical team. The ideal candidate will provide expert clinical care, participate in patient management, and contribute to advancing oncology services through research and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat various forms of cancer using appropriate medical interventions including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the latest clinical evidence and patient-specific factors.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and radiation oncologists in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment responses, adjust plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide empathetic counseling and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment journey.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to ongoing departmental research, clinical trials, and evidence-based protocol development.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Education:
MD/DNB/DM in Oncology (Medical Oncology / Hemato-Oncology / Clinical Oncology). - Experience:
Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant post-specialization experience in oncology practice. - Licensing:
Valid medical license to practice.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical acumen and knowledge of current oncology protocols and treatments.
- Proficiency in handling chemotherapy administration, management of side effects, and patient follow-up.
- Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous learning..
