What you will do:

As a Senior Scalability Expert - Cloud Engineering

• Design and conduct scalability tests.
• Analyse the results, summarize the performance test and suggest next steps.
• Perform RCA and identify the bottleneck for any performance issue.
• Develop mock applications to simulate certain scalability test scenarios.
• Work closely with multiple teams to ensure the scalability goals are met.
• Find ways to evolve/develop the scalability test process for re-usability and automate them.

What you bring:

• Hands-on experience in performance and scalability tests. Good knowledge in load and stress testing tools like nGrinder, JMeter.
• Strong knowledge of performance and reliability metrics of cloud microservice.
• Very good approach to do detailed root cause analysis.
• Strong experience in monitoring tools like Kibana, Dynatrace etc.
• Scripting/Coding knowledge in either Java or NodeJS or both.
• Working knowledge of cloud applications based on SAP BTP CloudFoundry.
• Knowledge in HANA Database Analysis and Kafka will be preferred.

Meet your team:

SAP Cloud ALM is a SaaS Solution comprised of a set of microservices built on Cloud native architecture using Java Spring, SAP Hana Cloud and SAP UI5 on SAP BTP. It uses certain frameworks and abstraction layers (like SAP Cloud SDK, Cloud Application Programming, etc.) written on top of Cloud Foundry.

SAP Cloud ALM has more than 10K tenants and is expanding rapidly. We are establishing a project to test the scalability of SAP Cloud ALM with the expected load in future. This would involve simulating the future load, testing scalability and analyzing the results using tools like Dynatrace, etc
