Our technology services client is seeking multiple
PHP Laravel Migration Specialist
to join their team on a contract basis. These positions offer a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period. Below are further details about the role:

Role: PHP Laravel Migration Specialist

Experience: 3- 7 Years

Location: PAN India

Notice Period: Immediate- 15 Days

Mandatory Skills: MySQL, Dimensional Data Modeling, Php 8, Laravel

Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced MySQL Migration Specialist with a strong understanding of database version upgrades backward compatibility and risk mitigation
  • The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of PHP 8 and frameworks like Zend Framework 2 or Laminas along with expertise in identifying and resolving MySQL query compatibility issues
  • This role focuses on ensuring a smooth MySQL version upgrade while maintaining application stability

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute MySQL version migrations with minimal downtime and risk
  • Review and update existing MySQL queries that may not be compatible with the new MySQL version
  • Analyse codebase written in PHP 8 Zend2 or Laminas to ensure MySQLrelated functions continue to work postmigration
  • Perform impact analysis and identify potential risks associated with the migration
  • Evaluate and adjust server configuration settings relevant to MySQL for optimal performance and stability
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of the application after migration
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement required changes
  • Document the migration process known issues and solutions clearly
  • Required Skills Experience
  • Strong handson experience with MySQL including version upgrades and performance optimization
  • Indepth knowledge of MySQL query syntax and versionspecific changes
  • Proficient in PHP 8 and frameworks such as Zend Framework 2 or Laminas
  • Ability to identify and rewrite incompatible MySQL queries as per new version standards
  • Understanding of server configuration parameters related to MySQL eg buffer sizes query cache etc
  • Experience troubleshooting application issues caused by database changes
  • Familiarity with version control systems eg Git
