Business Analyst

Wissen Technology is now hiring for P&L -   Business Analyst -Pricing Management Position Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore.

Location: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is the determination & clear articulation of business requirements for the trading area, with specific focus on Position Management and Mark-to-Market / Profit & Loss.
• Work closely with the Global Product Managers and Senior Business Stakeholders to determine the initiatives and features required to deliver programme objectives.
• Stakeholder management to ensure the solution meets business requirements and there are no business surprises for go-live.
• Close engagement with business process reengineering team, acting as the requirements authority (the source of truth) when clarification of the business process is required, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Work with the functional architecture team to determine the design of a solution, including screen design & usability to optimize business processes.
• Quality assurance of any technical requirements produced by off-shore teams against business requirements produced through business engagements.
• Key point of functional escalation for technical and QA teams during requirement development & testing
• Support change management and training teams to prepare business stakeholder for process and functional change.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Essential:

• Proven ability to act as a bridge between the business and development team located in other offices, translating business concepts into requirements that are implementable.
• Expected to have 7+ years' experience of requirements analysis in a commercial environment.

• Expected to be a domain expert in:

• position management and mark-to-market / profit & loss

• pricing and risk, including real-time valuation.
• Demonstrable ability to drive business process changes - challenging current business practices, working with key business process personnel.
• Track record of working in a team that has delivered large scale applications written using C++, C# or Java, to agreed timescales and to agreed quality standards.
• Experience of a variety of software development methodologies (e.g. continuous integration, iterative development)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic background excellent degree from a top tier university is required in a subject that demonstrates the need for logical thinking, precise understanding and clear articulation.
• Deep knowledge of physical and derivative commodity trading is required (oil, metals, bulk)

• Domain expert in at least one of the following areas:

• trade capture for physical commodity & derivative transactions.

• trade confirmation management, including term sheet and confirmation/contract production.
• position & risk management for physical commodity trading.

• Testing and training groups
