Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger and Journal Entries:Record all financial transactions accurately and perform necessary journal entries.
  • Reconciliation:Reconcile various accounts, including balance sheets, intercompany accounts, and bank statements, to ensure accuracy.
  • Month-End & Year-End Close:Manage and execute the processes for timely month-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Financial Reporting:Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Audit Support:Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.
  • Process Improvement:Continuously look for opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve financial accounting processes.
  • Control & Compliance:Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fixed Assets:Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization of purchases and supporting subsequent accounting treatments.
  • Experience in budgeting forecasting exercise and variance analysis.

Experience:

  • CA/ ACCA/ CMA Qualified
  • 3+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
