About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Bid Analyst to support our US business development and proposal efforts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in bid monitoring, solicitation analysis, and opportunity assessment for federal and state government contracts. This role requires strong analytical and documentation skills, attention to compliance requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to identify and qualify relevant business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor federal contracting platforms such as , eBuy, GovWin, and agency-specific procurement portals to identify new business opportunities.
- Review, track, and analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, Sources Sought, Pre-solicitations) aligned with company service offerings and strategic goals.
- Evaluate opportunities based on scope, technical requirements, NAICS codes, contract type, and set-aside categories (8(a), WOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc.).
- Identify expiring contracts and potential recompete opportunities for proactive business development.
- Prepare detailed bid summaries highlighting key compliance checkpoints, deliverables, and submission timelines.
- Manage the Bid/No-Bid decision process in collaboration with capture managers, proposal writers, and senior leadership.
- Maintain and update opportunity tracking databases and bid calendars.
- Support proposal teams with background research, agency insights, and historical contract data.
- Coordinate with recruiters and project managers to ensure resource alignment for upcoming bids.
- Contribute to overall bid strategy discussions and ensure timely communication of upcoming solicitations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Bid Analysis, Capture Support, or Government Contracting research.
- Strong understanding of US Federal Procurement processes, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI structures.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; experience with GovWin or similar bid monitoring tools preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations and government contracting terminology preferred.
Preferred Location
Candidates must be based in North India, preferably from one of the following states:
Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, or Chandigarh.
