Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Senior Product Analyst to become an integral part of our rapidly expanding mobile application team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the analytical backbone of our product organization, responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. These insights will directly inform and drive our product strategy, foster intelligent decision-making, and ultimately enhance the user experience across our mobile platforms. You will play a crucial role in understanding user behavior, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring our product development efforts are always data-informed and impactful. 

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Analytics Mastery: Take ownership of the end-to-end data analysis lifecycle for all product features, user behavior patterns, and critical metrics within our mobile application. This includes everything from initial data collection and cleaning to in-depth analysis and the presentation of findings. You will be responsible for understanding how users interact with our app and identifying areas for improvement.Strategic Partnership & Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with Product Managers, engineers, designers, program teams and other cross-functional teams. Your insights will be essential in shaping the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and making informed decisions that align with business objectives and user needs. You will be a key voice in strategic product discussions.Data Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring the seamless and accurate flow of data between our various data sources, the data warehouse, and our analytics tools. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of our data pipelines, which are crucial for accurate analysis.Actionable Insights & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, insightful reports, and compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex data findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from individual contributors to executive leadership. Your ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations will be paramount.Metrics Definition & Tracking: Define, track, and consistently monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), critical success metrics, and overall product health indicators. You will establish the benchmarks and frameworks necessary to evaluate product performance and identify trends or anomalies. 

Required Qualifications

Exceptional Technical Skills:
  1. Advanced SQL and BigQuery Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in writing complex SQL queries and advanced proficiency in BigQuery for large-scale data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  2. ETL and Data Warehouse Operations (Good to have) : Hands-on experience managing ETL processes and significant experience working with and maintaining data warehouse operations, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  3. Strong Data Manipulation & Analysis: Proven ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large datasets with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, uncovering meaningful patterns and insights.
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate degree in data science or any quantitative discipline such as computer science, operational research, economics, business analytics, statistics, quantitative financeRelevant Experience: 4-5 years of dedicated experience in product analytics, data analysis, or a similar quantitative role, with a strong preference for experience gained within the mobile or technology industry.Deep Product Mindset: A profound understanding of the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization, coupled with a strong user-centric thinking approach to problem-solving.Outstanding Communication Skills: The ability to translate complex technical data and analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering understanding and driving informed decision-making. 

Preferred Qualifications

Mobile Analytics Platform Experience: Direct experience with leading mobile analytics platforms such as Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools, leveraging their capabilities to gain deeper insights into mobile user behavior.Data Visualization Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with popular data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms, for creating impactful and easy-to-understand visual representations of data.Programming for Advanced Analytics: Proficiency in Python or R for performing advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and automating data processing tasks.Startup Environment Experience: Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and the ability to thrive with evolving priorities.
