Role & responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Assessment: Conduct neurological examinations, review patient histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify neurological conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with nervous system disorders, which may include medications, physical therapy, or referrals to other specialists.
• Patient and Family Education: Communicate complex medical information to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
• Monitoring and Follow-Up: Track patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and manage the long-term course of chronic neurological conditions.
• Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with nurses and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
• Continuing Education: Participate in ongoing training and seminars to stay current with advancements and new techniques in the field of neurology.
