Senior Visual Content Lead

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Motion Designer and Video Editor to lead our visual content production as we expand our video-first content strategy. This role will oversee all motion and video projects while mentoring our design team through a transition to hybrid static-motion capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Production (70%)

• Plan, design, and edit video content across multiple platforms including social media (Linked in, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube), marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives
• Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
• Manage projects from concept through final delivery, ensuring quality and timeline adherence
• Optimize content for platform-specific requirements (aspect ratios, length, format, best practices)

Team Leadership & Development (20%)

• Mentor and upskill existing design team members in motion design and video editing fundamentals
• Provide art direction and feedback on motion and static design work
• Develop efficient workflows, templates, and asset management systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, social, creative) to align on strategy and execution

Innovation & Strategy (10%)

• Stay current with platform trends, algorithm changes, and content best practices
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and emerging technologies into production workflows
• Analyze content performance metrics to inform creative decisions
• Recommend new approaches, tools, or processes to improve output quality and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Creative Suite
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across content types (social media, brand videos, motion graphics)
• Understanding of social media platforms and content optimization strategies
• Experience mentoring or training team members
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender)
• Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and audio mixing
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (Runway, Descript, etc.)
• Basic videography or cinematography skills
• Experience in agency or fast-paced brand environment
