Role OverviewWe are seeking a driven Sales Manager based in Mumbai to spearhead TradeLab's growth in Western India. This role is primarily a hunter profile, building new client relationships across discount brokers, full-service brokers, banks, and fintech platforms, while maintaining light account nurturing. The ideal candidate will leverage strong industry familiarity and networks in the capital markets/broking/fintech ecosystem to create and close opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business acquisition across Western India by targeting brokers, banks, and fintechs identified in TradeLab's ICP.
Build and manage a sales pipeline, prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, Heads of Broking).
Lead end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, demos, proposal building, negotiation, and closure.
Work closely with the solutions and product teams to position TradeLab's modular platforms (ORMS, MetaTrader integrations, PULSE AI, CRM/LPA solutions) against client needs.
Understand regulatory and compliance drivers (SEBI, algo controls, T+0 workflows) and translate them into business value during sales conversations.
Represent TradeLab at industry forums, events, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence in the region.
Provide structured feedback from the field to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
Must-Have Qualifications5–8 years of sales experience in capital markets technology / trading infrastructure / fintech SaaS.
Strong network and familiarity with decision-makers at brokers, banks, and fintech platforms in Western India.
Proven track record of hunting and closing new business with enterprise or mid-market financial institutions.
Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders (CxOs, Tech Heads, Risk Committees).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
Good-to-Have SkillsExposure to broking platforms, OMS/RMS, or API-driven fintech products.
Understanding of algo trading, risk management systems, and compliance workflows.
Experience with solution selling / consultative sales approaches.
