*Job Title: Accounts Assistant**

*Location* : Bhandup / Bhiwandi

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and Tally ERP, and 2+ years of experience in a similar role. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Financial Record-Keeping:*

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets.

    - Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.

2. *GST and TDS Compliance:*

    - Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other tax-related documents.

    - Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

3. *Tally ERP Operations:*

    - Maintain and update Tally ERP software, ensuring accurate financial data and compliance with accounting standards.

    - Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and trial balances.

4. *Financial Statement Preparation:*

    - Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

    - Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

5. *Account Reconciliation:*

    - Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or anomalies.

6. *Audit and Compliance:*

    - Assist in the preparation of financial data for audits and other regulatory requirements.

    - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

7. *Other Responsibilities:*

    - Provide support to the finance team as needed.

    - Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

*Requirements:*

1. *Education:*

    - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

2. *Experience:*

years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing company.

3. *Technical Skills:*

    - Proficient in Tally ERP software.

    - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax laws and regulations.

    - Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.

4. *Soft Skills:*

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
