Data Entry Operator/Computer Operator

Data Input & Updating: Accurately transferring data from paper records, digital files, or verbal information into electronic databases or computer systems. Data Verification: Checking entered data for errors and discrepancies, correcting them as needed to ensure accuracy and reliability. Record Management: Organizing, indexing, and maintaining digital and physical files to ensure data is easily retrievable. Report Generation: Assisting in compiling and generating reports from the data for internal use or management requests. Confidentiality: Handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and adhering to data security protocols. System Maintenance: Performing tasks to maintain and update databases, ensuring they remain current and functional. Required Skills & Qualifications: Typing Skills: Excellent typing speed and accuracy, often including 10-key skills. Attention to Detail: A strong focus on detail is crucial to prevent errors and ensure data reliability. Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with data entry software, databases, and spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel. Organizational Skills: The ability to organize information and manage records efficiently. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies. Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
