The role involves a mix of medical and surgical work, focusing on patient care from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.Perform surgical procedures, with a focus on phacoemulsification (Phaco) for cataract removal.Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to develop effective treatment plans.Advise patients on preventative eye care and management of chronic conditions.Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.RequirementsMBBS degree and a postgraduate degree (MD/DNB/MS) in Ophthalmology.Proven experience in cataract and phaco surgery.Valid medical license and registration.
