Job Title: Production Engineer / Production Supervisor – Interior Fitout

Department: Production / Factory Operations

Job Summary:

The Production Engineer will oversee the manufacturing, assembly, and execution of interior fitout elements such as furniture, partitions, paneling, joinery, modular units, metal/plywood structures, and finishes. The role involves coordination between design, procurement, factory, and site teams to ensure timely production and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review shop drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications before production.
  • Plan and schedule daily production activities based on project timelines.
  • Assign tasks to carpenters, fabricators, painters, polishers, and machine operators.
  • Ensure accurate material cutting, assembly, and finishing as per approved drawings.
  • Coordinate with design/QS/procurement teams for clarifications and material availability.
  • Monitor production progress, wastage control, and output efficiency.
  • Conduct quality checks before dispatch to site.
  • Prepare daily/weekly production reports and provide updates to management.
  • Coordinate packing, transportation, and installation support to site teams.
  • Ensure safety protocols and housekeeping standards inside the factory/workshop.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Civil / Interior / Mechanical / Wood Technology or relevant field.
  • 5–7 years experience in interior fitout / modular furniture / joinery production.
  • Knowledge of plywood types, laminates, veneer, hardware fittings, PU/polish finishes.
  • Ability to read AutoCAD drawings, cutting lists, exploded views.
  • Strong manpower handling and time management skills.
  • Experience with panel saw, edge banding, CNC / carpentry machines (optional but preferred).

Preferred Add-ons:

  • Experience in modular furniture factory / turnkey fitout company.
  • Familiarity with BOQ, material consumption tracking, and wastage control.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or production optimization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
