Job Summary

Maxemo Capital, a rapidly growing Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), is seeking an

experienced Internal Auditor to lead and manage internal audit functions across finance,

credit, and operational areas. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of NBFC

processes, regulatory compliance, and risk management to ensure robust internal controls and

governance.

Key Responsibilities

 Plan, execute, and oversee
end-to-end internal audits covering finance, credit,

operations, compliance & other departments.

 Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks, and recommend

corrective actions.

 Review financial statements, loan files, disbursements, collections, and branch

activities to ensure compliance with company policies and RBI guidelines.

 Prepare and present audit reports with findings, observations, and actionable

recommendations to senior management.

 Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and risk mitigation

measures.

 Collaborate with functional teams to strengthen internal processes and enhance

efficiency.

 Ensure adherence to NBFC audit standards and regulatory frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 6+ years of experience in internal audit within an NBFC or financial services

organization.

 Strong understanding of finance, credit appraisal, collections, and regulatory

compliance.

 In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies, internal control systems, and

RBI/NBFC guidelines.

 Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and audit documentation tools.

 Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

 Professional qualifications like CA / CIA / CMA (Preferred).
